Mikoto is the son of Tsunami Kamiki Jurai and her royal consort Watari Miyagi. As at the time of his birth the identity of the father was a secret and thus Mikoto only bears the Jurai royal name and no familial name for political reasons. Aside from occasional trips to visit Earth, Mikoto has led a mostly cloistered life thus far. Part of this is because of his importance as the Crown Prince of Jurai, but secretly it is because he was born without any natural body enhancement or inherited powers.
In order to both protect the young Mikoto as well as to try to develop any potential abilities, he has spent most of his life (10 years to be exact) thus far engaged in various forms of training. This has included mastery of various forms of martial arts training as well as more esoteric arts such as meditation, ceremonial practices and so forth. The majority of his education thus far has not perhaps been of the most practical sort, save for that which can be used in combat, a result of which is that Mikoto is very unfamiliar with how things work in the 'real world' and has had very little contact with women outside of his mother and occasional familial visits.
One evening when Mikoto was still quite young, his evening meditations & studies were interrupted by a meteoric impact nearby. The object had been rather small and considered harmless by the planetary defenses and was allowed to fall to the surface of the planet Jurai. As Mikoto has always been quite curious, he slipped out to investigate. Within a small crater Mikoto found a unusual crystal which crumbled at the touch, within which were two identical seeds of unknown origin. Immediately upon touching the two seeds he knew they were still alive (somehow) as they both were able to form a weak mental connection with him.
As he could feel their life energies fading, he took the two seeds to his mother Tsunami. As the Empress could not bear seeing her son so distraught and crying, she used her royal power to bolster the life energy of the seeds. Promising that he would take good care of them both, Mikoto planted the two seeds that very evening. Mikoto spent a great deal of time caring for and tending to the two trees each and every day. As he found that he was very comfortable and calmed somehow in their presence, he changed his daily routines so that he could meditate and even train near and around them.
During these years as the young boy and the two trees all grew together, the doctors who tended Mikoto began reporting signs that his natural body enhancement was starting to show and develop on its own. The official consensus reached was that Mikoto's 'royal blood' had won out over that of his father, as his superior genetics became more manifest. For their part the two trees that were cared for so well grew to an impressive height, such that their branches became intertwined and merged with one another to form a natural arch. As the trees grew in stature, Mikoto eventually transferred them from the original planters he placed them in to a shared larger device so the two could grow together in better harmony.
Appearance: Mikoto has long black hair and red eyes like those of his Grandmother the Lady Seto. He is very well groomed and takes good care of his personal appearance. He is very handsome as he has certainly inherited the good looks of his parents at least, though this can cause some problems when he gets hounded by women. He is well used to and quite comfortable with wearing traditional and formal Juraian attire, but is also willing to try out new outfits should the situation permit or demand such. (updated)
Advantages
Body Enhancement & Martial Arts Mastery ("It cultivates the mind, spirit, and the soul. And we must always cultivate the soul."): Mikoto has undergone body enhancement thanks to his link with Amaterasu & Tsuki-yomi. This enhancement is supplemented by many years of vigorous training, such that Mikoto knows how to make good use of his 'natural' ability. He is highly proficient with armed and unarmed combat.
Disadvantages
Girl Magnet & Extremely Attractive ("Your existence is a form of indecent exposure!"): He is his father's son after all. It seems to run in the family. Unfortunately Mikoto may be a bit too good looking, which can cause potentially undesirable behavior in women who see him.
Easily Embarrassed by Romance ("There's no flirting in these premises!"): If there is one thing in the universe that is certain to embarrass the heck out of Mikoto, it is romance. Expressions of true love, heartfelt feelings... all these things can easily crack and shatter his normally calm exterior and cause him to behave like a giddy schoolgirl. These types of things can have an affect even when not directed at him, such as if he were watching a romance drama or reading a romantic Manga but the results may not be as extreme.
Harem
Amaterasu & Tsuki-yomi a.k.a. "Amatsu"
Amaterasu and her sister Tsuki-yomi are the first two Royal Trees of Jurai. They were found by Mikoto Jurai after they fell to the planet Jurai within a crystalline meteorite and were saved from death when Mikoto took them to Empress Tsunami who was able to bolster their life-energy with her own powers. Once planted within the royal gardens, the two trees began to grow and recover from their ordeal. The connection they had formed with the young Mikoto grew over time as he tended to them and as their own powers began to grow as well.
Powers & Abilities: Amaterasu & Tsuki-yomi are zeroth generation space-trees. While each of them is theoretically capable of acting independently, such as to generate 10 Wings of the Light Hawk, in practice they act in sync with one another, each supporting her sister in whatever they do. While they must obey the limit of 10, so as not to breach the dimensional barrier, they are capable of lending up to 10 Light Hawk Wings to others if they so desire to fill out their theoretical limit. In practice it is only likely that they would lend their power to Mikoto Jurai in this fashion. In theory Amaterasu & Tsuki-yomi could utilize these 10 'spare' Light Hawk Wings to give themselves a manifestation form as well as project themselves remotely.
Appearance: See below. The only visual difference between the manifestations of Amaterasu & Tsuki-yomi is the color of their garments. Amaterasu favors those with a more golden-themed coloration and Tsuki-yomi favors those that are more silver in coloration. May be accompanied by Boushiko the biodroid cabbit.
Minagi
The current Minagi is a constructed being created by Yakage, after his defeat of the original Minagi who was a galactic bounty hunter. Yakage honored Minagi's request to create himself an assistant and cloned her memories into her. After being freed from Yakage's service she has ended up working as a special agent of the Juraian Royal Family. She was formerly in the service of Empress Tsunami and has thus encountered Mikoto on numerous occasions. Minagi is now the Captain of Mikoto's Royal Bodyguard.

Misao Amano / Pixy Misa
Misao was the avatar chosen by Ramia Jurai in her battle against Tsunami for the position of Empress. Ten years ago Misao joined the Galaxy Police and is currently an Instructor at the Academy. She is very sexy and kind of cute when physically Misao (think Kiriko/XP-tan) and a bit sexier instead of cute when as Pixy Misa.

Eimi was the chosen avatar of Tsunami Kamiki Jurai on the Planet Earth. As such she was endowed with special powers to fight on behalf of Tsunami in a contest with Ramia (?) Jurai for the position of Empress. That was 15 years ago. She has since gone to and graduated from college with a masters degree in physics. She has grown up to look similar to Chihiro Kawai in terms of physical proportions and is a rather attractive Japanese woman.

The Okami: First Royal Ship of Jurai
Royal Trees: Amaterasu & Tsuki-yomi
Appearance: The Okami has an exceedingly simple exterior design consisting of 4 separate elements. In the center of the arrangement is the main hull of the ship. The main hull contains the primary and private subspace generated by Amaterasu & Tsuki-yomi. The hull exterior has the appearance of a flattened spherical disk of wood with green crystalline elements above and below on the main surfaces. Orbiting the main hull are two disparate and highly ornate spherical bodies. One resembles a golden sun and the other a silver moon. The outermost element of the ship is a simple, albeit rather large diameter, wooden ring. It is with the outer ring that ships can be docked, though larger vessels would have to dock with the exterior part of the ring rather than the interior. This outer ring also serves as the physical entrance to the secondary and public subspace of the Okami.

Subspace
Private: The private subspace of the Okami is where the main bridge and private living quarters exist. This subspace is laid out like a disk, with barrier mountains in the far distance marking the edge of the subspace. In the center of the environment is a large lake with an idyllic island in the center. Floating high above this island is the main bridge and living quarters which also contains the central bodies of Amaterasu & Tsuki-yomi.
Public: The public subspace of the Okami is modeled in a fashion similar to that of an enclosed ringworld or a Stanford Torus. The sides and upper levels (up being towards the center of the ring) of the structure are entirely set aside for residential, commercial and other official uses. The lower level is a natural environment with trees, lakes, rivers and the like suitable for public enjoyment or the growing of crops. All access to the docks or other methods to enter or depart the subspace are via the upper levels.

Yakage
An ancient Juraian, Yakage exiled himself millennia ago. He was obsessed with his life's goal to craft the ultimate sword and to become the ultimate swordsman. In his quest he became quite a villain and he was eventually defeated at the hands of Kinshi Miyagi. Kinshi spared his life and asked a favor of Yakage, that he help in the sword training for his younger brother Mikoto. Yakage was thus sent to dwell with the Juraian Monks in seclusion, only allowed to teach those who came before him directly, or remotely via galactic communication. He is a part-time remote instructor for the galactic academy.
Heihashi Kotetsu
One of the Juraian monks which Mikoto had the most interaction with. As most of the others had taken various sacred vows, it fell to Heihashi to serve as a guide and Sensei. He made frequent uses of cultivation quotes about Mikoto's training and development. Heihashi is one of the members of the Holy Council of the Planet Jurai.
