Introduction

Catlord Games are set in either an alternate dimensional version or alternate time stream variation of the Catgirl Dimension. Yes, the one with the color-coordinated castes thanks to the nuisance. Anyways the Catlord variation of this concept is based on the premise of some main character becoming a Catlord.

Catlords

Catlords are the rare male offspring of other Catlords. At best there is a 1:1000 chance of a new Catlord being born whenever they impregnate some woman. Catlords are a species in of themselves really. While they may take some appearance (color, etc.) from their mother they are very different in terms of genetics.

Catlords have a reinforcing casting effect upon those they breed with. For example if a Catlord were to breed with a warrior woman, her children would be much more inclined to be warriors themselves. If this occurs often enough the resulting offspring will begin accruing traits that make them good warriors, such as being stronger, faster, more durable, loyal, etc. As Catlords are naturally very long lived, this type of outcome is very likely in whatever area they control.

Catlords are extremely territorial and will fight to the death against any other Catlord trying to enter their territory. While not all Catlords are evil, they are very covetous of their 'harem' and whatever territory they have carved out for themselves. The good news is that almost all Catlords are isolationists, having little desire for expansion beyond whatever area they have claimed. Trouble only occurs when two Catlords have territories that share a boundary space, or when some kind of overlap occurs.

What's the deal with Catlords?

Behind the scenes, Catlords are very much similar to Domain Lords in ye olde Ravenloft. They have traits similar to those of a deific entity (such as from Rifts or D&D) in that they get stronger and more powerful depending on how many descendants & women they control and can breed with within their territory. Typically this 'power' is simply translated into heightened physical capabilities, though some have discovered how to use it for mystical purposes. Within their sphere of influence (their claimed territory) their powers are pretty darn impressive. In essence their chosen domain becomes divinely morphic. Their power can extend beyond their territory, but only in terms of the power they wield themselves.

The Super-Secret of Catlords

There is one secret not even the wisest and most powerful Catlords know. In truth while the Catlords themselves are a true species, their awesome power does not come from their genetics per-se. Rather their power is derived solely from the fact that they are men. In theory any man can become a Catlord, as long as they can accrue to themselves a 'harem of power' to fuel their energy and can choose some suitable territory for themselves. All of the power of the Catlords comes, in truth, from their women. Thus the power of a Catlord could work anywhere, even on other worlds and dimensions, should they travel there.

As an example, say some poor (lucky) guy fell "into a mysterious world" from Earth. If while there he became a Catlord, he would retain these abilities if he returned to Earth... as long as he brought the girls with him of course!

Catgirl Species

The Catlord variant of the Catgirl Dimension/World is much broader than the simple casting of the one with the Nuisance. In theory there are likely a heck of a lot more species variants than those listed here, these are just examples and selected favorites.

Red Guard

As deadly as they are beautiful. Red Guard are Catgirls with red hair and red fur with white tufts in their ears. They are very similar to Samurai from Feudal Japan, but are much more adept at using a wider range of weapons, armor and other gear of war. They have no trouble utilizing technology or magical weapons or the like, but must depend on others to acquire or otherwise obtain fun toys such as these. Red Guard are very loyal, but this loyalty can be broken if their master turns on them. Red Guard typically have very little fur covering their actual body, save for their ears and tail. However they do take a great deal of pride in their hair, which is usually allowed to grow to be quite long often down past their waist.

Knight Sabers

Riding beasts extraordinaire. Knight Sabers are shapeshifters with two natural forms, one of a beautiful women and the other of a very large riding cat. Knight Sabers are incredibly strong, fast and durable. While they can and will fight, they abhor the use of weapons and many even refuse to wear armor. They are consummate masters of unarmed combat... though they do possess natural weapons in the form of claws and such of course.
