Some kind of metroid idea. PErhaps a fresh species who has lost it's homeworld -or just family- to Space Pirates. As they are actually track down positive it seems easier than... some Samus knockoff failed to stop a cvatastrophe opn your world, or you're species is a cool powered badass species and you're jsut off for training among the Less Fortunate.
Even includes say "Phazon Suit Mark 5 - Phazon Replacement 2" where you're off on orders to do what you need to do to Those Guys Over There... most likely space pirates.
No I've not run a spell check. That might slow me down again. It's just NEeed and NEcessaribly. OPerhaps I'll kill this line when I run one.
In any event travel to interesting places meet interesting people and kill them/save them.

Yeah I've ramped up the darkness a tad but otherwise haven't rethought anything else. Somehow I need to work in 'Platinum Sand' perhaps the White Space starts becoming more granular as Your Creation starts flexing their Godhood - OR YOU DO BASTIAN.

Assigned to an Invincible Tank Squad as a Infantry member in their APC you find the tanks not so immortal, and are saved by the lead tank's Byte... but now what do you do? You find out what's wrong with this system is what and you derez some heads in the process if ya gotta.
